Hello Everyone,
I wanted to remind everyone that we are meeting this Wednesday at 6:00 to continue work on our engineering journey. The girls will continue constructing life vests for their soup can corgies. This journey is a particularly fun one as there is a lot of hands on construction and critical thinking.
At the beginning of our last meeting I played a small part of a really great Ted Talk that encourages girls in Engineering and I wanted to share the video in its entirety for everyone as its really inspiring. Please share with your girls if possible.

White Pines
A packing list was sent out a few days ago for those going to White Pines. If you need a copy of the packing list let me know and I will be happy to forward it to you. Its going to be a fun weekend.
Halloween Party
We will be having an all troop Halloween party on Wednesday Oct. 23rd. Girls may wear their costumes if they like. Typically if the older girls do attend they are asked to help run the activities. Please let me know if your girls plan to attend so we can plan accordingly.
Fall Product
If anyone is actively selling fall product please remember that sales end Oct 20th. Please let me know by then if anything needs to be keyed in and we can make arrangements regarding payments due.
Attendance
I realize that from time to time girls may need to miss a planned meeting. Whether its due to illness or a scheduling conflict I completely understand. The only thing I ask is that if you do know that your child will need to miss a meeting please let me know in advance so I can plan activities and purchase supplies accordingly.
